This holiday season marks Little Smiles 11th Annual Little Smiles Holiday Toy Drive from St. Lucie to Miami Dade, which kicked off in July and continues through December and beyond. Each year Little Smiles provide gifts to over 23 partner and medical facilities. Little Smiles serve in South Florida year-round, but to any child in need.
In 2019, they collected and distributed nearly 10,000 toys to children in our community, and they already know that this year the need is far greater. We are asking for your help in any way you can.
There are several ways to support the cause:
Proceeds from the Holiday Toy Drive will secure toys, games, and gifts, and get distributed to local families needing a little help bringing the joy of the holidays to their children this season. It will also benefit our many programs that support local children impacted by serious ill! ...

In that spirit, North Palm Beach-based, leading Florida Real Estate Brokerage Rick Kendrick Home Selling Team, Chasewood Realty recently celebrated successfully participating in STEPtember, a fundraising and fitness challenge event to raise funds and awareness for Cerebral Palsy research. Moms and Halloween!
It's creepy and it's kooky -- and it's Mom's favorite low-stress holiday! According to mom after mom, those infamous "big name" holidays—you know which ones we mean—are sometimes more headache than highlight. The pressure! The presents! The out-of-town guests or out-of-town travel, the cooking and cleaning, the expense! But Halloween—that's a different story. More than two-thirds of Mom’s are involved in celebrating with their families.
What I love best about Halloween is all the little things that I see families doing every year, stuff that's unique to their family, not part of some big commercial idea about what the holiday should be like. Whether it’s just the basics—costume, trick-or-treating, candy eating— now we've got a whole series of activities and special events that many kids totally look forward to—from roasting pumpkin seeds to making a scary straw man for the front porch. ...
